Around the Pollingsried chapel, which is also called the plague chapel in Weilheim, there are numerous, sometimes eerie, legends. Just google! ;-) Today's church was built in 1660, but there was a chapel in the same place at least in 1138. The chapel belonged to the hamlet of Pollingsried, which was a fief of the Bressanone monastery in the 12th century.
