Clear menu with regional standards (Maultaschen, Käsespätze, SchniPoSa, Rahmschnitzel .... without decoration-Schischi, but homemade spaetzle) friendly service/ tasty cuisine - but when it's full it's quite overwhelmed (because it's often understaffed - expect a longer wait - that's fine due to the situation)

I think the outside sockets for charging thirsty e-bike batteries are exemplary (with a trust box for small change next to it ... just visible behind the motorcycle in my photo)

The interior with a low wooden coffered ceiling, tiled stove, solid wood tables and benches is extremely cozy - you also swallow the beer price of 4 € for the Meckatzer Weizen (as of May 22) Open from 11:00 a.m., closed on Mondays

Tip for kids:

Inside there is an original, very old oak wood bowling alley (glass marbles are available from the service department) and outside there is a mud sandpit... In the annex of the old wooden bowling alley, performances by the Wangen puppet theater took place regularly.
