In Provençal, the term “bastide” means “farm” or “country house”. The one that stands on the outskirts of the GRP Tour du Causse Méjean is the vestige of an old house of its kind, now forgotten by time and devoured by nature.
It nevertheless remains an excellent point of shade and observation on clear summer days.

Above Florac, the Causse Méjean shows its unique beauty: vast, stony and steppe-like land. To the east you can walk along the edge of the Causse with a view of Florac. The Causse is partly used for agriculture.

하이킹
The hike is very varied and beautiful. The ascent is exhausting but the view is fantastic. Hiking on the plateau was also a great experience.
