The Engstlenalp is a high alp at an altitude of 1,834 meters. On the alp there are several Alpine buildings, a hotel, a cheese dairy and a large parking lot. Because of its location between the glaciated Titlis and the impressive mountain scenery and the diverse flora, the area was placed under protection in 1973.

If the Engstlenalp is the final destination of a hike, you can enjoy an impressive return journey to Meiringen on the Engstlenalp bus. But first check the departure times at engstlenalp-bus.ch. During the week it requires a pre-registration (from five people), so that the bus drives!
