History:
Initially, this complex was part of the properties of the ca n'Homs farmhouse, located above it.
It had the purpose of storing water to irrigate the fields, for domestic use and to wash clothes.
The fountain's water came from the Can Vidal canal through a mine located to the north, above the street.
Restoration work on the complex began at the end of 2015 and ended in August
in 2017. The execution was carried out by the Municipal Maintenance and Services Brigade of the City Council
de Dosrius, previous agreement with the company that owns the land. The laundry room was restored and they left
solve the water leaks that the source was suffering from. According to oral sources, this space was also a place of
meeting place for the people of the town, a social space where you can relate. It was cleaned twice a year (before
Festival of the Brotherhood of Saint Joseph and the Summer Festival).
