In the middle of the forest on generously graveled trails starts the short but varied route on the outskirts of Walldorf. Here you will meet some athletes and dog owners at sunrise, the quite busy route is no longer a secret. Lots of animals like rabbits, game, ducks, squirrels and birds are not uncommon: it is all there. A lot of rubbish bins and even a Kotbeutelspender and one or the other bank are spread over the complete paths. Information signs on living animals show you what you should pay attention to. You can extend the route as you like into the forest or into the adjacent second largest nature reserve in southern Hesse. The path is very easy to walk and super nice. Especially in summer, your dog can cool off directly in the Gundbach and there are enough other dogs for a detailed, artful conversation. Most dogs find themselves leashless around the stream and the owners are all relaxed. As a really high-traffic track, it's surprisingly clean and there's plenty of free, partially protected parking at the tennis court in Walldorf.
