Even though there are countless viewpoints along the Mosel valley, every single place offers you a special and unique view. From Kumer Knüppchen you have a beautiful view of Riol and the water and camping park Triolago with its three large lakes.

If you want to combine a panoramic tour through the Moselle mountains, spiced up with an almost alpine climbing experience, the Extratour Mehringer Schweiz is an absolute must. Several vantage points, an outstanding lookout tower, countless rock bastions, an abandoned quarry and the Mehring/Riol via ferrata are the absolute highlights of this 14-kilometer loop on the Moselsteig Trail. The excellent impression is completed by a route that, conditionally quite demanding, often runs on narrow paths and rocky climbs.
