The Pino Gordo del Toril is a “grandfather” of the forests of the Sierra del Agua. A magnificent specimen of black pine or salgareño pine (pinus nigra) that could be about 500 years old. Its trunk has a perimeter of around five meters. It takes three people to fully embrace it. Its height is close to 25 meters. It has a huge side branch whose dimensions alone dwarf many other fine pine trees around it.
