Nestled in the beautiful nature of the headwaters of the Neckar and Danube, the historic city center of Villingen is a great destination for your bike ride. The Riettor is the most beautiful of the 3 preserved gates and forms the entrance to the old Zähringerstadt. If you go through the gate you are right in the pedestrian precinct where you can shop and stay.
