Wikipedia knows František Palacký (* June 14, 1798 in Hodslavice [1] - May 26, 1876 in Prague-Nové Město [2]) was a Czech historian, politician, writer and organizer of public cultural and scientific life in contemporary Prague. He is considered the founder of modern Czech historiography, he is nicknamed "the father of the nation".
