Course level: E/ simple. Also suitable for children and dogs (in the summer season) as the route is wide and well marked.
Approximate travel time 2h+2h.
Basic equipment (boots, backpack and poles)
The route starts from the astronomical observatory (where you can leave the car). From there the Michele Dusi route begins, a route suitable for everyone (even for disabled people up to the Praganzano hut).
Once past the mountain hut, the actual excursion through the beech forest begins. The route is mainly downhill; regarding the climbs there are only 2, one gentler and the other decidedly steeper (at the Cerbiolo hut). Once you have tackled the second climb, the steepest one, at the crossroads you have to keep right and go over the barrier. Once past the barrier, the last stretch of the route begins in the woods; Time 20/30 minutes maximum to reach the valley that hosts the bivouac.
