A small fee is charged at the entrance to the Gilfenklamm. Adults pay 5 euros, children aged 6 to 14 years 3 euros. For groups of 20 people or more, the fee is EUR 4.50.
The lower entrance is in Stange, the upper one at Jaufensteg. Please keep the admission ticket as you have to show it when you leave the gorge. It is therefore possible to start the hike in both Stange and Jaufensteg.
The admission price is more than justified! Visitors can expect a spectacular natural spectacle that is second to none!

You can park in Stange at the sports field. From then on you walk about 10-15 minutes and have to pay 4 €. They are absolutely fine. The ascent takes about 45-50 minutes. Once at the top, it is worth making a detour to the Jaufensteg inn.

The entrance to the gorge from Stange is currently closed due to damage in the lower area. You can only get into the gorge from above, reach the beautiful areas here and have to turn back after about 20 minutes of walking.
A beautiful, but more strenuous alternative tour is to go up from Stange via the ruins of Reifenegg instead of taking the bus.
