Very scenic, but overall a poor surface.
Too bad, with a better surface the Bahntrassenradweg would have a lot of potential.

Just a nice part of the Voie Verte between Foix-St Girons, following the old rail road between Foix and St Girons. I just did a part of it. Will absolutely ride the whole stretch next time. Good route and very accessible. Nice and easy in this time of year, might be a bit busy during holiday season.

Very nice walk to do with family or friends, too bad that the departmental council of Ariège does not make any effort to maintain this path. Lots of ruts and branches which sometimes can be dangerous.
