The market place in Dornbirn is worth seeing. Both the facade and the interior of the church are exceptional. There are also some very old half-timbered houses.

The Roman Catholic parish church Dornbirn-St. Martin (also: Marktkirche or parish church Dornbirn-Markt) is located in the central district of Markt in the municipality of Dornbirn in the Dornbirn district of Vorarlberg. It is dedicated to St. Martin and belongs to the Dean's Office in Dornbirn in the Diocese of Feldkirch. The building is a listed building, a pastor can be traced back to 1266 and a church was certified in 1401. After a fire, the church was enlarged and baroque in the years 1669 to 1670. In the years 1751 to 1753 a new building was built according to the plans of Kaspar Koller. In the years 1839 to 1840 the new building was built again according to the plans of Martin von Kink and Weihe in 1857. From 1967 to 1969 the interior was restored and redesigned under architect Emil Steffan.
