The Jewish Cemetery is a cemetery in the district of the town of Hechingen in the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg. It is a protected cultural monument. The Jewish cemetery is located on the so-called Galgenrain between Hechingen and Sickingen, north of the L 410. There are a total of 651 gravestones. The oldest securely dated tombstone dates from 1747. The cemetery was probably occupied from the mid-17th century until 1941 and then again in 1958, 1995 and since 2002.

Originally, the cemetery, outside the city and near the gallows, was not enclosed. It was not until 1764 that Karoline Kaulla (1739-1809), one of the greatest court factors and the richest woman in Germany at the time, was able to obtain permission for a fence. In 1800 the site was walled off and the nearby gallows also disappeared.

Karoline Kaulla and Julius Koch (1816-1895), fruit dealers at the Royal Württemberg court and Albert Einstein's maternal grandfather, are buried in the Jewish cemetery.

The cemetery was desecrated in 1990, 1993 and 2018: in 1990, 95 tombstones were overturned and swastikas were daubed on them; In 1993, 15 tombstones were knocked over and partially destroyed, in 2018 two tombstones.

Because of the rising terrain, the cemetery is threatened by landslides. The cemetery wall was therefore renovated in 2018 with the support of the Baden-Württemberg Monument Foundation and named Monument of the Month for November 2018.
