A good place for a break. Sometimes ice cream or drink is sold here or next to it. The beautiful view over the Havel is free.

The old town of Werder/Havel lies on an island, accessible via a narrow bridge. In summer, visitors are enveloped by an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. The signposted island tour leads through the romantically winding streets of the beautifully restored historic town center.

A cityscape like a painting

The city's skyline is dominated by the 45-meter-high steeple of the neo-Gothic Church of the Holy Spirit, the reconstructed post mill, and the baroque plastered building of the Old Town Hall. Werder/Havel has been a fishing village for many centuries, and the one-story fishermen's houses still bear witness to this today.

Not even a detour, but it makes it easier to get around Werder Island, it's a great construction, you have a beautiful view of Havel and towards Zernsee and you can get to Potsdam quickly via Wildpark! Great
