An 8km flat smooth gravel path. Share with runners and dog-walkers in the morning and evening. Best at crack of dawn when mist is rising over the race course and the river meadows. Can also cut down to a riverside path.

Good path for anything other than a road bike. Although it is totally possible on a roady, it feels as though the puncture fairy could strike at anytime. It can also get a little busy.

Following along part of the Honeybourne Line, a former railway line built in 1859, the Stratford Greenway is now a lovely trail for cyclists and walkers. The route runs 5.3 miles (8.5km) from Long Marston village to Stratford upon Avon. It runs through peaceful nature, passing fertile fields, fruit and walnut trees, wild carrots and many other plants and animals. you can find more information, here: sustrans.org.uk/find-a-route-on-the-national-cycle-network/stratford-greenway

Great for bike rides with reasonably good surfaces but a few potholes are developing. Very flat👍

A recent "renovation" has covered half the Greenway (the half closer to Stratford) in loose pea gravel. It is an uncomfortable and unstable ride and very frustrating compared to the much nicer second half, even if the second half is narrower and has a few potholes here and there. Best to come prepared for that.
