Front taya head (2450m)
The 2450m high front Tajakopf lies in the Mieminger chain. Together with the Grünstein (2661m), the Marienbergspitzen (2560m), the Ehrwalder Sonnenspitze (2414m), the Hintere Tajakopf (2408) and the Drachenkopf (2302m) this shapely summit forms an impressive mountain range. The deep views of the idyllic mountain lakes Seebensee (1657m) and Drachensee (1874m), as well as the panoramic view over the Zugspitze massif make this peak one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Tyrol. In addition to the rope-insured ascent via the normal route (I-II) in only a few places, the Tajakante via ferrata (D / E) has also existed since 2000, which leads over 580 lofty climbing meters to the summit on the west ridge. The nearby Coburger Hütte invites you to refreshment and is a base for further summit and via ferrata tours.
