The Kemater Alm is located at 1.670 vertical meters in Senderstal. It is located in the mountain range of the Kalkkögel, also called the Dolomites of North Tyrol. In the dining room you can enjoy traditional food and enjoy the sun on the terrace.
It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30. The opening times, however, always depend on the seasons and can be weather-dependent. As a rule, it is open all year round - except in the months of May and November. Current information can be found here: kemater-alm.at.

Cozy alpine pasture with a great view of a part of the Kalkkögel. Also accessible by car, so probably especially on fair weather weekends a bit much car traffic on the forest. Nevertheless, a commendable forest road driveway along the beautiful, rushing stream.
