Prada-Costabella cable car
The iconic Prada-Costabella cable car has been back in operation since August 14, 2022. In addition to the more famous Malcesine cable car, the Prada-Costabella cable car is a real alternative for hikers and mountain bikers on southern Monte Baldo.
Almost 10 years after the old chairlift was closed, the new cable car was completely rebuilt in the style of its popular predecessor. The two municipalities of Brenzone sul Garda and San Zeno di Montagna each invested half in the project. The operating company is the same as that of the Malcesine cable car.
New as a standing gondola and two-seater chairlift
The cable car, like its predecessor, runs in two sections. The lower 2 km long section is called Prada - Ortigaretta and leads from the Prada car park (1014 m) to the Baito Turri mountain hut (1,550 m). It consists of a standing gondola that can accommodate 2 people each.
