More beautiful, wider, more breathtaking: the Hochalm Trail in Saalbach Hinterglemm. The Hochalm trail is still relatively new. It is somewhat hidden, but that is exactly what makes this dream trail so appealing.
At the end of the valley of Hinterglemm is the Hochalm, an area full of grass mats, "Grantenstauden" (cranberry bushes) and wonderful views of the Hohe Tauern and the surrounding stone mountains. And right in the middle is the Hochalm Trail and winds its way casually into the valley.

Good idea if you really want to drive this trail. Beautiful nature trail on loose gravel, but the journey is long and exhausting.

The approach to the trail is very exhausting. The last barely 400hm are to master on their own. Good if it's worth it ... the trail itself is beautiful.
