The Serra Calva crossing, in the Peña Trevinca massif, is a hard stretch due to the weight of the bags and the inhuman slope of the roads. The slopes begin in A Ponte (Ourense) and do not end until passing through the geodesic vertex of O Sestil (1,757 m). The efforts and patience are worth it to go through the glacial cirques of Ocelo and see up close the swarm of reliefs that make up the mountain massif. In one of the ramps, after passing through the lagoon, you have to climb a very steep scree where you want to leave half your luggage on the way. The descent to Porto de Sanabria is fantastic, a well-earned reward, for one of the signposted trail itineraries in the area.
