The view from the toll road on the left Isar side is m. E. nicer. On the right side you drive mostly in the forest. On the gekiesten ways you have to take care in places with touring bikes also something.

On the right-hand side, I recommend using the paths only with mountain bikes, as it is often gravelly and stony. It often goes up and down and requires a lot of stamina. The toll road was closed due to undercutting and the risk of falling rocks, which is why I drove this side. One advantage, of course, is that there are no cars on the right.
