The palace was erected in the 18th century by the Bobrowski family, rebuilt in the 19th century in the English Romantic Neo-Gothic style by the Zwillings.
The manor house erected in the second half of the 18th century belonged to the Bobrowski family until the mid-19th century, the last owner of which was Count Ignacy Bobrowski. Later, it was taken over by the Austrian aristocrats Zwillings and rebuilt into a neo-gothic palace with an octagonal corner tower, they also arranged a park and established an English-style garden. After 1914, it was rebuilt again by Wincenty Zwilling. Unfortunately, the family squandered the property and fell into debt, the palace was put up for auction and in 1938 it was bought by Karol Gajdzica.
In September 1939, a battle of the September Campaign of Polish troops against the Wehrmacht armored units stationed in the palace took place in its vicinity. During the occupation, the Germans rebuilt the interior of the palace for the needs of the hygiene institute associated with the concentration camp in Oświęcim.
After World War II, the palace with farm buildings was taken over by a state farm. For many years, it was not developed, in 1952 a hospital was established there, from 1965 a psychiatric ward of the Oświęcim hospital, and later, until 2015, a care and treatment facility operated there.
Today the palace is privately owned.

RAJSKO – the palace was built in the early 19th century by Count Ignacy Bobrowski, and then rebuilt in the middle of the same century by the new owners, the Zwillings, in the style of romantic neo-Gothic. On the morning of 4.09.1939, the park and palace were the site of the last border battle of Polish troops in defense of Upper Silesia, as a result of which 83 Polish soldiers died. In 1951, it was adapted for the needs of the health service and it serves this function to this day.
