Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday (as of Aug. 2022) there is a huge night market in the evening directly between Chaweng Lake and the Central Festival Samui shopping center. Countless small stalls offer delicacies from Thai cuisine - some of them also include some dishes or snacks that seem a bit bizarre to us Europeans, such as roasted insects. Nevertheless: try, try, try! The prices are almost ridiculously low and it's a lot of fun to munch through.

In addition to the food stalls, there are also a variety of stalls with clothing, electronics, toys and much more. Attention : Not everything that looks like branded goods is actually ! 😉
