It is in a state of consolidated ruin. Some canvases of the wall and the solid keep, with a height of 16 meters, have been preserved. It was built in masonry with rows (verdugadas) of brick in the purest Moorish style, with the corners of the keep in masonry. The castle has a triangular floor plan, with the access door on the east wall, next to the Keep, and on it appear the coats of arms of the Albornoz and Luna family.
