In this glass manufactory you can watch the Baumkuchen bakers at their craft.

Located right next to Café Kruse and with a huge Baumkuchen on the facade, the manufactory cannot be overlooked.

If you look through the large glass fronts into the individual rooms of the manufactory, you can see all the work steps. From separating the eggs and baking them over an open fire to packaging the finished Baumkuchen.

The manufactory building is a listed building. The operator is Baumkuchenmanufaktur Kruse GmbH.

Open: Mon - Fri between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m

🤣 what can I say? There's just nothing like Baumkuchen. The one from the Salzwedler bakeries is something special that you have to try at least once. Preferably with icing. But beware! Addictive 😋😋
