Fromiée is the smallest hamlet of Gerpinnes. The church is dedicated to Saint-Adèle.
Like every hamlet in Gerpinnes, Fromiée also has its march:
According to the elders, we would have walked to Sainte-Adèle before, but it was not until 1995 that this young march really saw the light of day. On the occasion of the first centenary of the local parish, the members of the committee of the Marche Sainte-Rolende de Fromiée had the good idea to celebrate this anniversary with a procession, both religious and military. Sainte-Adèle, accompanied by many pilgrims and walkers, walked through all the streets of her fief to the rhythm of fifes and drums; every devotion to chapels or repositories is interrupted by a thunderous discharge: a total success!
