I don't know for a racing bike, but it's easy to ride with a trekking bike, even with luggage; it's strenuous, but there are lots of beautiful views.

This segment was completed in 2025, starting from Thessaloniki and heading towards Alexandroupolis. At one point, the road is closed, but this is mainly for cars. If you carry your bike for 2 meters, it restarts without any problems. A magnificent road, quality gravel, and breathtaking views. There's a swimming and shower available at the end of the segment to freshen up, plus a kiosk for a Coke. Life is good. See you later.
(At times, it's a bit adventurous, but if you have hybrid tires, it's fine, even if you have to push a little.)
