If the Appelbecker See is too crowded for you, you can find some of the idyllic peace you are looking for at the Moisburger Teich. The 22,000 square meter pond is located west of Moisburg on Nindorfer Straße in the middle of the Este valley. In spring and autumn, wild geese stop here, not least because the lake with its small island in the southwest is surrounded by the Este and Goldbeck rivers and a small marshland. The west side facing the field is open, while the rest of the lake is lined with a rich tree population. From Nindorfer Straße, the pond can be circumnavigated on a single trail.
In addition to bream, pike and carp, anglers can also find eels, zander, roach, rudd, tench and bleak here.

It is definitely worth going around the lake. It is very idyllic and the route is easy to drive. However, it shouldn't have rained too much beforehand.
