This route is a challenge by bike. There are a few trees lying across the path. Nettles and blackberries narrow the path, which is barely more than a few centimeters wide.

FACT; During the 80-year war in 1597, Maurits also came to this part of the Netherlands with a large army of 9,000 soldiers, 1,600 horses and cannons to drive out the Spanish from their fortresses such as Enschede, Oldenzaal and Ootmarsum.
