    The romantic old town with its over 200 half-timbered houses, the wine, the culture and wonderful people - there are many reasons to visit Esslingen. Right in the heart of the Stuttgart region and yet far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, you can unwind. Framed by the Neckar and vineyards, crossed by water canals, and crowned by a castle that wasn't one. Esslingen tells stories on every corner. It's a great place to spend time - forget about everyday life.
