In 1835 Ernst von Blücher bought the estate. The area around Teschow was used for agriculture. In addition to horse breeding, pigs were also fattened, sheep were raised and dairy cows were kept.
The manor park was designed in the style of an English landscape garden….
The last owner from the family was Horst von Blücher. In October 1945 the Blüchers had to leave their estate. The house was looted and there is no furniture or fixtures left from that period.
In 1996 Alfred Rüßel (West German building contractor) acquired the castle in Teschow. He expanded the building by adding a hotel to the side, planned and opened two large golf courses and operated the house as a four-star golf and wellness hotel. From 2008 to 2015 the hotel was operated by arcona Management GmbH as a golf and family hotel.
September 2015 the Limes Castle Clinic Mecklenburg Switzerland became a new tenant. After a lot of renovation work, the clinic starts operating as an acute clinic for the treatment of stress-related illnesses in 2016.
