The Silver Sand Beach (Chinese: Yin Shatan 银 沙滩) is the second largest bathing beach in the Westcoast New Area. The beach is guarded, please only if possible in the designated bathing area into the water. Unfortunately, the sea here is often contaminated with algae, there is no health risk, but the green stuff is a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise the water quality is ok.
The best way to go early in the morning, later the beach is very crowded. If you later want to the beach, you should try another bay. But always look, if you can swim, because many bays are used for fish.
