On 1 May 2010, the wooden sculpture "De Mardröpske Kiepenfroe with Hoho-guy" of the Warmsen sculptor Holger Döpke was revealed.

The old legend says that in the old days the peasant women with heavy kieps pulled on their backs over the land and sold butter and eggs. When they passed a hollow oak tree, the Kiepe suddenly became as heavy as if someone were sitting in the Kiepe and singing: Ho! Ho! Ho! It is said to have been a forester who killed and hid a girl who was pregnant by him. After his death, he haunted here more often.

There was an old hollow oak tree on the horse hill. When they passed there, the box suddenly became so heavy and they felt as if someone was sitting in the box singing, "Ho! Ho!" Hey! Ho!” So they gave this ghost the name “Hoho-guy”. The burden kept getting heavier and the more they scolded, the heavier it got. They were already tired from all the lugging and didn't feel like going any further. But at the beginning of the moor her pannier suddenly became lighter. "Thank God!" everyone sighed and moved on happily. In the evening and after a good deal on the way back, the same drama started again. Year after year they had to struggle with this monster. He is said to have been a forester and got a young girl pregnant. He probably killed both of them and hid them in the old oak tree. After his death, he often haunted the village and the moor (legless, wearing a tricorne hat and a pükjen – a small rucksack) looking for the girl with the child.
