The wildlife park Niendorfer Gehege is a former park in which beeches and oaks predominate, but some strange trees can also be found. Ponds and forest meadows break up the area, and a large network of paths runs through the area. Children love the 3-hectare fallow deer enclosure, which can be walked around on a circular path. The beautifully patterned animals can be observed particularly well from a wooden platform. Two playgrounds make romping around a wonderful pleasure. One playground is very close to the game reserve at the Niendorfer Gehege/Bondenwald intersection, the other on the south-western edge of the park on Vogt-Kölln-Straße.
Pony riding is possible all year round at the pony farm. The good-natured animals can be shown around on a circular route in 20 minutes, the cost is around 6 euros. Only 300 meters away is the cozy forest café Corell, which blends in beautifully with its surroundings thanks to its special log cabin style and grass roof. In winter it is cozy and warm inside, in summer a large sun terrace awaits guests of all ages. The extensive menu is suitable for every generation.
