The Growing Pavilion is an iconic ode to biobased materials. Unique in the variety of biobased materials used together to create a building, the award-winning pavilion showcases the possibilities and new aesthetics of biobased materials.

The 10-ton CO2-negative and 95% circular structure is made of five core grown raw materials: Wood, mycelium, residual streams from agriculture, cattail and cotton. Because each material is presented as raw as possible, the pavilion has a very distinct visual identity, organic texture and color. It represents a necessary and viable solution to reducing the use of fossil resources and their destructive impact on climate change. It stimulates the imagination to trigger a shift in thinking, acting and building on a biological basis.

The Growing Pavilion is part of the Mycelium Parc.
