The small town in South Bohemia is a nice stopover on a bike tour through the Czech Republic. There is a beautiful city center and a view of the historic moated castle at the mouth of the Volynka in the Otava is also worthwhile. And of course, such a city has a very practical use: there are enough shops, cafes and restaurants to strengthen. Incidentally, Strakonice also has bicycle history: Here there was a sprint score in the context of the International Peace Race.
