The local reservoir – looking like a vast lake full of bays – is a flooded gravel pit. In many places the shore is sandy, in others overgrown with reeds. The reservoir has an irregular shape and stretches for quite a long time. You can swim, although there is no lifeguard, the water is clear and looks clean. It is shallow near the shore, further on you can swim decently. We saw quite a few people on inflatable pontoons. There is a car park, a small playground and a shop. Unfortunately – despite the signs hanging in many places asking people to clean up after themselves – the further you go from the main beach, the more rubbish there is. And if it weren't for that, Brzóze would be one of the most pleasant bathing areas in Mazovia. It is also a good stop on the way to Mazury or Kurpie. Also worth seeing in the area are the forts in Różan – a complex of fortifications built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Russians to protect the crossing of the Narew River. mikrowyprawyzwarszawy.pl/plaza-brzoze
