The Leckfeldsattel checkpoint is located at an altitude of 2,380 meters. From here you have a wonderful view of the Sesto Dolomites with the “Three Peaks”. Up to here it's a ten-kilometer climb from the valley with an average of 13 percent. However, the magnificent view makes up for all the effort.

Note on the S5 - name of the route from Leckfeldalm in Komoot - as of October/2023:
If you look at the descriptions and pictures of the S categories from singletrail-skala.de, this is not an S5 but an S1 section. However, the steepness is several times 20%.

The Silianer Hütte was newly renovated and enlarged. The hospitality is nice and friendly. The view from up here is indescribable. On the Stoneman Dolomiti you pass here because there is also a stamping point here. One that you have fought hard for. The way up here from the Leckfeldalm is quite steep.

The Sexten Dolomites - with the Sexten sundial, the highest peak of the Dreischusterspitze and the DREI ZINNEN - have something magical about them. I want to get up every day with this view. Life is better in the mountains.
