From the source of the Weser near Hann. Münden (Werra/ Fulda merge into the Weser) to Cuxhaven, it covers about 500 km, where it flows into the North Sea.

A really nice bike path! We like to drive from the Weserkuss in Bad Oeynhausen (confluence of the Werre into the Weser) to Petershagen and back again. However, there is a very high increase in the number of cyclists, inline skates and walkers on weekends. Since the path is sometimes very narrow, it can literally lead to bottlenecks. If you can set it up, you'd better take a tour there during the week.

Wow, this is where the river bike path becomes a river bike path. It always goes dead straight along the Weser to the Weser lock near Minden. The path is paved, just wide enough for two cyclists side by side and offers no shade. Apply lotion and wear covering clothing. There are always benches.

I live only a few minutes away and I like to cycle it again and again, the Weser cycle path on the left of the Weser from Minden in the direction of Petershagen. Partially directly on the Weser, it goes on good paths through the quiet green landscape. Okay very busy on some days, but if everyone is on the move with a bit of consideration, there is room for everyone.
