        Chapel of Mary Help of Christians in Tamar. In this chapel you will find the mosaics of the accused Father Rupnik, the author of the famous mosaics of the Vatican Redemptoris Mater personal papal chapel.

          Today (7-9-2023) we hiked from Vršič pass to the Tamar plane (where chapel is located), and via Grlo back to Vršič. The way up from Tamar to Grlo is NOT recommended and very dangerous in the current condition, even with excellent hiking gear and good alpine experience. We may have missed a warning sign, but the climb is steep with loose rock, and the path appears to be swept away by a recent avalanche.
