You can camp legally and free of charge for one night at the Ersfjord. The municipality created the camping beach so that there is no wild camping in the town itself. There is even a toilet block with showers. Truly luxurious. Hopefully this will be respected and maintained by tourists. The beach itself is sandy and the water is clear. On warm summer days you get the feeling of the South Seas. You can camp on the meadow, which is elevated on the beach. There are even tables and benches as a rest area.
