The central square in Rosenheim. Here you will find almost everything you need. Food, drink, sports and fashion stores, bakeries and banks. The houses are really nice to look at and the fountain is a pleasant refreshment in summer.

Max-Josefs-Platz
Formerly the Inner Market and Schranne - today it is the “good room” of the city. Since 1984, the historic market square has been a pedestrian zone, a leisure area and a central place for Rosenheim residents to do a bit of shopping or have a coffee outdoors.
Surrounded by magnificent town houses in the Inn-Salzach style, this central square offers a picturesque view. Arcades, vaults, bay windows and the moat roofs hidden behind partially towering retaining walls are typical of this architectural style.
