Across the river from the cycle path is Glasgow Botanic Gardens, which are well worth a visit. You find beautiful seasonal gardens and glasshouses containing tropical plants, most notably the Kibble Palace, a magnificent curvilinear glasshouse designed by John Kibble in the 19th century.
