A vault thirty metres wide and twenty metres high, reminiscent of a cathedral, the light coming in through cracks in the ceiling reinforces this impression. Just as impressive as the interior of the cave is the view of the valley and the north side of the Balmberg.

The little detour to the Bärenloch is definitely worth it, because this place is special and fascinating for children. However, you have to be careful that the children concentrate, the path is relatively narrow and it goes down steeply. A little surefootedness certainly doesn't hurt.
