The Kanzelbahn takes you comfortably up to the Gerlitzen - a perfect starting point for numerous hikes. The ride in the gondola from Annenheim is an experience in itself, while the panorama of the Carinthian lakes and mountains unfolds below you. You can float comfortably up to the middle station, and if you want, the chairlift takes you further up to the mountain station.

Once you're at the top, there are many options. From short walks to more challenging tours, there's everything. A hike on the Gerlitzen is worth it just for the view of Lake Ossiach and the surrounding peaks. A tip from other hikers: Plan a break in one of the rustic huts, such as the Steinwenderhütte - there you can not only recharge your batteries for the way back, but also enjoy delicious Carinthian cuisine.

And if you want to take it easy, the ride on the Kanzelbahn is also worth it just to enjoy the fantastic view.
