The church dates from the 9th to 10th centuries. The building, which is rectangular in plan, ends with a semicircular apse in the east. The church is covered with a semi-cylindrical vault resting on a triumphal arch and another arch. The arches are supported by pilasters. The pilaster capitals have a simple shelf-like shape.
A fragment of the iconostasis has been preserved in the altar area. On the east facade, above the window, there is a relief tile depicting a circle and a snake. Fragments of frescoes have been preserved inside the church.
