The ferry house used to be the meeting point of the village
The old restaurant "Zum Fährhaus" is located directly on the Zschopau and has been severely affected by flooding several times. The inn has been closed since the mid-1970s and is only used as a residential building.
The old ferry house was the local restaurant for years.
The men of the village used to meet here to play cards over beer and home-style cooking. There was even a small cinema in one room of the inn.
