The Bredenfelde water mill was first mentioned in 1624 and was a windmill at the time. Later it was used as a water mill. The mill consists mainly of field stone masonry and half-timbering. Up until the mid-1950s, grist was still ground here.
The mill is still inhabited. There is nothing left of the mill wheel, only the reel on which it was attached. The gable end, where the mill wheel was located, was filled with glass.
